Within the years 2017 through 2019 filmmakers Anastasia Erastova and Geraldo Arias set out to capture an unconventional narrative that traversed through varied cultures and was imbued with vast exploration in search of meaning in their most ambitious project yet. Prayer Before Birth is the result of that journey.

The film explores themes of interconnection and transcendence, presenting an unadulterated look into the beauty of nature, childhood, human achievement and the creations that we encircle ourselves with, as well as the mayhem that can fall upon the world, the pitfalls of the human experience and the mystery of existence itself. It is a visual quest of rediscovery that plunges the viewer into a uniquely visceral experience of the world surrounding us.
